Call It the Willis Tower
While Chicago’s tallest building may be officially called the Willis Tower now, locals will near-universally refer to it by its older, legacy name: the Sears Tower.
While this example is specific to the Windy City, referring to buildings/bridges/tunnels/parks/etc. by their previous long-running names is customary in many cities.
