Use City Nicknames
Many of the world’s biggest cities have nicknames, be it New York, Chicago, London, Paris, and countless others.
However, tourists should avoid using nicknames, as certain ones like Frisco (San Francisco) and Barca (Barcelona) are disliked by residents, and in fact thought of with derision by locals.
